About Milagros -Spanish for miracles- are delightful symbolic charms that are commonly used in Mexican churches, where they are used a thankful offering after a miraculous prayer has been granted. Milagros were pinned, glued, or hung to adorn the Holy statues around the churches. Believers also carry them in their cars, pockets and keep them in their homes for protection and blessings.
Milagros are made of many materials and into many shapes. Their meaning can be very symbolic or simply literal. Milagros are thought to have magical powers; it all depends on how much you believe.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of handmade milagros, and the typical "folk art" look, there may be inperfections.
